Adjacent to 7 miles of an award winning Blue Flag beach,
Camber Sands has all the ingredients for a fabulous family
holiday. Explore the scenic Sussex countryside, 1066
country and historic towns such as Rye and Winchelsea.
Visit the seaside town of Hastings, or enjoy all that

Kids will love the indoor ball pond, plus, of course
all the action in Sparkys Krew Club. Teenagers
get busy in The Mix programme of activities and the whole
family can join in games and challenges on the Multi
Sports Court. The Starlight Showbar is the place to be
for family fun and entertainment with a great evening
line up of dancing, discos, glittering shows and visiting

Buckleys Yesterdays World. Take a nostalgic journey
through time between 1850 and 1950 as you discover what
everyday life was like. Hastings. Maritime attractions
include The Shipwreck Centre, The Fishermans Museum & Fish
Market, The Lifeboat Station and Underwater World. Smugglers
Adventure. Discover Hastings smuggling past as you
take the Adventure Walk in the caves and capture the danger
and excitement of this turbulent period of English history.
Rye. Stroll around this historic and picturesque town,
from the harbour to the cobbled streets. The castle, built
to defend the town in 1249, houses the museum and gives
extensive views across Romney Marsh to the sea. Kent & East
Sussex Steam Railway. Journey through 10½miles of
beautiful countryside in the Rother valley between Bodiam
and Tenterden. The Trug Shop. See the old craft of Sussex
Trug basket making, then visit the craft shop. 1066 Battlefield & Abbey.
The abbey alter marks the spot where King Harold died in
the Battle of Hastings. Pevensey Castle. Investigate 2,000
years of history from Roman origins to World War 2. Explore
the battlements, towers and dungeons of the medieval castle
ruins. Great Dixter. One of the most experimental, exciting
and constantly changing gardens of our time. Drusillas
Park. Get nose to nose with nature at this award winning
small zoo and see meerkats, penguins, otters, monkeys and
lemurs.
Directions
From the M25, take the M20. Come off at junction 10 (Ashford
International Station). Come on to the A2070 signposted
to Brenzett. Follow the signs to Hastings and Rye, staying
on the A259 and 1 mile before Rye, take a left turn signposted
Camber. The Holiday Park is approximately 3 miles along
the road. |
