Although a large site, it has a feeling of intimacy with the emplacements arranged in a series of terraces down the steep hillside. Mature trees and green hedges line the roads, providing shade from the warm sun. This is a lively site with first class facilities. Life here centres around the main square where you will find the restaurants and bar, located in converted farm buildings. Children will have hours of fun at the two pool complexes, complete with waterslides, while teenagers will enjoy the excellent animations programme and regular discos. This is an ideal location to get away from it all - the site is peaceful in low season with a lively animations programme in July and August, and has a strong Italian atmosphere. Our grassy emplacements are some of the sites' largest, and come equipped with shade gazebos. The site has direct access through the sand dunes to its own private beach of dusky volcanic sand. It is an excellent spot for swimming and sunbathing, or even to hire a pedalo or canoe. Back on site, the tropical style swimming pool is situated in an attractive garden setting, complete with palm trees, overlooked by the bar and restaurant. For those keen to explore the local area, rich in Etruscan history, this site makes an excellent base.
