Set in a wooded valley, on the edge of a pretty little spa town, overlooked by an ancient castle, it’s easy to understand the popularity of this parc. The whole area, with its many picturesque villages is a favourite with everyone from gentle ramblers, to serious hikers, and there are superb drives through the Black Forest too. At the same time, there’s a great deal on offer here for sports enthusiasts. The parc’s showpiece is the large, heated swimming pool, complete with water rapids and a spectacular water-slide. Add to this the many other sports facilities nearby, and you really are spoilt for choice. Bad Liebenzell, with its shops and inns is just a stroll away. Some noise can be heard from the local road and trainline.
