Boatyard Description:
The owners of this company have been offering boats for hire on this waterway for almost 20 years. Adjacent to Bishopthorpe Palace, home to the Archbishop of York, your starting base is a leisure complex including, not only the boatyard, but also an attractive caravan/camping park and a licensed restaurant. Two miles south of York, Bishopthorpe is a delightful village with an excellent variety of shops and pubs and a major supermarket just five minutes drive away.
Colour TV's, video players (videos not supplied) and irons are available for hire. You will find a complimentary welcome pack (tea/coffee etc.) onboard at the start of your holiday.
