Boatyard Description: Adventure Fleet (Union Canal Carriers Ltd.) Based at Braunston in rural Northamptonshire, with easy access to both M1 and M6 motorways, Adventure Fleet is part of the canal community grouped around the historic Victorian pump house, dry dock, boat building sheds and slipway. A fascinating place to start your holiday and exceptionally well placed for a choice of routes, with Braunston Locks on hand to demonstrate lock working. Unrivalled choice of routes from Braunston to suit all capabilities, from the novice to the experienced canal boater, with well positioned hostelries for refreshments. THROUGHOUT THE ADVENTURE FLEET YOU WILL FIND: Careful attention to insulation and ventilation Radiator central heating (exc. Wrekin, Cheviot & Malvern which have solid fuel) Constant hot water from gas boiler and/or engine Well fitted galley with full-size cooker and electric fridge Roomy front and rear decks Automatic gas changeover Automatic bilge pumps as standard Hygienic fresh water flush toilets Spacious cabins with headroom of 6ft 3in or over (Blackdown 6ft 2in) 12volt hairdryers are available on all boats Fabric covered mattresses in all cabins (excluding Berwyn & Brecon) 12volt facility for charging video camera/phone available on all boats.
