Located just yards from the beach, this modernised single-storey property benefits from sea views from the living room, dining-room and some of the bedrooms. Together with an enclosed front garden and rear terrace, there are plenty of areas in which to relax and unwind.<br />Widemouth Bay offers a mile-long sandy beach, with lifeguard cover and is regarded as one of the finest in Cornwall and is perfect for swimmers and walkers. Also popular with surfers, there are waves along its entire length - appealing to body boarders, long boarders and short boarders with waves that are suitable for beginners to intermediate. At the north end of Widemouth Bay there is a large sandy area that becomes exposed as the tide ebbs. There are interesting rock formations along the backing cliffs and the sun is on the beach most of the day until the evening when you can enjoy the ever-changing sunsets. Widemouth Bay coast has smuggling stories connected with it, probably due to the little inlets and coves to the south. <br />A short drive leads to a host of sheltered coves and sandy beaches, as well as attractions including the steep cobbled streets of Clovelly, Killarney Springs Adventure Park, Tamar Otter Park, Launceston Steam Railway and the world famous Eden Project. Tintagel with its legends of King Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table is easily accessible for a day trip, as is the pretty village of Boscastle, where fishing trips can be taken.<br />Bude lies appproximately 3 miles distant and offers excellent shops, restaurants, squash, horse riding and a leisure centre.
