This welcoming, detached, granite house, built in 1870, is ideally situated in the small, quiet and beautiful hamlet of West Pentire. There is no through access elsewhere by car. It is 2-3 minutes&rsquo; walk to the headland. Because of careful management by the NT, there is a profusion of flowers and birds, including larks, in season. The sandy Porth Joke Beach and Crantock Beach are within a few minutes&rsquo; walk from the house, though at high tide access to Crantock Beach is through the dunes and takes a few minutes longer. Both are ideal for children as well as surfers. For miles of coastal walks join the Coastal Path here. Further afield there are numerous opportunities to explore - Newquay, including Fistral beach (5 miles), Padstow, Truro, Penzance, the Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, famous houses and gardens.
