The beautiful college buildings, Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers museums and excellent shops, inns and restaurants make for a memorable day out.<br /> A trip to Windsor with its impresssive castle, and Henley-on-Thames to relax by the river is the perfect day out on a summer&rsquo;s day. Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are both approximately 30 miles away and offer the most picture-postcard villages in this beautiful area with quaint shops and pubs.
