A detached 17th-century Grade II listed character mill cottage, set just inside the Lake District National Park in the quiet hamlet of Garnett Bridge 4½ miles from Kendal and 9 miles from Windermere. An ideal base to tour the Lakes or to enjoy walking direct from the door. The property built towards the end of the 1600's, retains all its original character. The original mill race runs through the area to the front of the house to drive the mills waterwheel. Shop and pub 2½ miles.
