There is a Millennium wood in the village, and the opportunity to go fly fishing and horse riding (lessons can be arranged, the owner can also provide an antique porcelain restoration course). Dartmoor and Exmoor are both within easy reach, Crealy Adventure Park is 15 miles, Diggerland 3 miles and Killerton NT House is 6 miles. The sandy beaches of Exmouth are only 25 minutes away.
