It sits quietly on a green within 800 yards of acres of golden sand, rock pools and caves (<strong>see photograph</strong> &ndash; dogs allowed). Surfing and pony hire are available nearby and, on this NT land, the only road leads to the hamlet of West Pentire &ndash; allowing safe walking or riding along the coast. Across the green, visitors are welcome to use the facilities at the Crantock Bay Hotel including the indoor swimming-pool (by arrangement, at cost) restaurant and bar.
