Centrally located, this is an ideal base to explore both North and South coasts, Devon and Cornwall. There are a variety of National Trust properties all close by including Cotehele House, Lanhydrock, Launceston Castle and the Victorian mining village of Morwellham Quay, which is well worth a visit. There are many activities to choose from for all the family. Canoeing on the Tamar River, golf at St. Mellion; fishing, sailing and windsurfing at Sibleyback Lake, Dobwalls Adventure Park and the Donkey Park which is just a short walk away. The picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro are just a short drive, and the famous Eden Project approximately 30 miles. <br />Alternatively relax within the grounds of Honicombe or go for a swim in the outdoor heated pool. There is also the large indoor pool with learners and toddlers pool.
