Within easy reach there are many activities on offer such as sailing (Carsington Reservoir, cycling (Manifold Valley, High Peak and Tissington trails), or simply walking in the many beautiful dales close by. Local attractions include, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Hardwick Hall, Sudbury Hall with childhood museum, Alton Towers and Gullivers Kingdom theme parks. Good walking from the doorstep.
