The delightful village of Lakeside is a short walk for hotels, the Aquarium of the Lakes, the Lakeside to Haverthwaite Steam Railway and the Gondola (for lake trips). The holiday apartments have large grounds with lawns, natural rock pond and shrubberies. On the edge of Grizedale Forest, this is a wonderful walking and cycling area, up through the forest to Sawrey and Beatrix Potter&rsquo;s Hill Top Farm.
