Take a trip to the Shin Falls Visitor Centre, Dunrobin Castle and Dornoch or further afield to Wick, Thurso and John O&rsquo;Groats. From the north coast a ferry can be taken to the lovely Orkney Islands with their abundance of wildlife, archaeological sites and deserted beaches. A day trip to the beautiful west coast is highly recommended where visits can be made to Eilean Donan Castle, Glenelg or Plockton followed by a trip to the Isle of Skye.
