Originally owned by the Earl of Dartmouth and situated in the Georgian market town of Olney, Dartmouth House has records dating back to 1745. A spacious and comfortable, stone-built property with the owners&rsquo; home close by, it can sleep up to twelve people. The large, mature, south-facing, stone-walled garden is enclosed, and its beautiful aspects may be enjoyed in all types of weather when dining or relaxing on the large verandah, which is attached to the house. <br />Olney (situated on the River Great Ouse) is one of the most sought-after destinations in North Buckinghamshire and is within easy driving distance of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, in an area with beautiful rolling countryside and many country and town attractions. Olney is located in the middle of England and Dartmouth House is handily set along a main road just 20 minutes from junction 14 of the M1 - making London very accessible. Olney itself has tearoooms, antique shops, boutiques and the William Cowper Museum and are all within easy walking distance of the property. A few minutes&rsquo; drive leads to Woburn Abbey, Castle Ashby and Bletchley Park.
