Set in the very heart of the delightful village of Buckland Monachorum, steeped in history, and set just on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Brook Cottage forms part of the building that was formerly a 19th-century inn, and latterly a farmhouse. The cottage, as the name suggests, is situated next to a stream which runs past the cottage and into the large garden which is quite a colourful sight in the summer. The garden is separated from the cottage by the drive (with public footpath access) and is shared with the owners who live in the farmhouse behind Brook Cottage. The front of the cottage has a small but pretty garden and faces the village centre, and the local pub, church and primary school are just along the street. Footpaths lead from the village on to the moors; Buckland Abbey and the Garden House are close by. Pub 20 yards._Living room with exposed stone walls and open fire.
