Beautifully located within 3 acres of private gardens, paddock and orchards, this spacious detached Victorian home is peacefully situated in a spectacular rural area with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and western reaches of the Solent. Being set within an AONB, most of the surrounding land is National Trust, offering spectacular uninterrupted views over the sea and downland, including West High Down, Tennyson monument and Headon Warren - with its breathtaking views of The Needles. The holiday property makes an ideal choice for families, with plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment, including badminton, croquet and other games. Although in a secluded area, amenities in Totland and Freshwater are only 5 minutes&rsquo; drive, offering shops, library, tea-rooms, indoor swimming-pool and pubs, and Alum Bay with its famous coloured sands, is about 15 minutes&rsquo; walk over the Downs. The historic sailing town of Yarmouth, set in the estuary of the River Yar, is about 10 minutes&rsquo; drive, and Colwell, Totland and the popular sandy beach at Compton are 5 minutes&rsquo; drive away.
