Situated in the heart of the pretty village of Instow, this delightful holiday cottage sits right on the front with uninterrupted views across the waters of the River Torridge estuary and the village of Appledore beyond. The holiday cottage has an old Georgian frontage but is made up of various periods and at one time was a shop, and is suitable for year round holidays. There is a lovely private and enclosed garden with sitting out areas so you can follow the sun across the sky. Instow has lots to offer including a sandy beach and good quality pubs and restaurants, delicatessan and gallery, all of which are in very easy walking distance. The town of Bideford is a short journey away and has a range of facilities, and a trip to Lundy Island can be organised from the quayside. Westward Ho!, 2 miles, has a long stretch of sand and good surf. The terraced holiday home is ideally located to explore further, either Exmoor to the east and its surrounding attractions or to the west there is the North Cornish/Devon coastline with its excellent walking and hidden treasures including Clovelly, Bucks Mill and Hartland Quay. The Big Sheep Farm Park, the Milky Way Activity Park, Darlington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor, Tarka cycle trail and footpath, and indoor swimming pool are all within easy reach and will ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy.
